ENLASO Awarded Welch Allyn’s Quality Supplier Award

Awards are based on a supplier’s ability to exceed Welch Allyn’s well-known standard of quality and customer service. The award was presented to ENLASO representatives following the delivery of multilingual user manuals that were affecting the distribution of medical devices to European markets because of CE Mark requirements. CE Mark regulations require manufacturers to translate product and regulatory documentation into the official language(s) of the European Community Member States in which the medical procedures are carried out.

ENLASO’s dedicated Welch Allyn localization team, which includes technical translators, multilingual publishers, and localization project managers, leveraged the account’s established processes to deliver high quality multilingual files in both native and print-ready formats. With a two-day turnaround, on a holiday weekend, necessary resources were scaled across ENLASO’s localization centers in San Francisco, California; Boulder, Colorado; and Columbia, Maryland. As a result, Welch Allyn’s global team was able to ensure uninterrupted shipments to the European Community while meeting changing international customer requirements.
