Company Reaches Major Milestone and Continues Stable Growth despite Current Economical Woes
BOULDER, CO - November 5, 2008 - ENLASO Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise language solutions, today announced that 2008 marks the 40th anniversary of the company.
The origins of ENLASO go back to the year 1968. The resources of Polyglot International, in San Francisco, California and Translingua, Inc., in Maryland were pooled under the ownership of a British company. In 2001 a software localization center was created in Boulder, Colorado, creating a leading localization solutions provider for the software and the medical and life sciences industries.
In 2004, a management-led buyout of US operations led to the formation of ENLASO Corporation. ENLASO created the administrative headquarters in Boise, Idaho and centralized its main production activities in Boulder, Colorado. Key satellite offices and sales representation located around the US create an effective support network for ENLASO’s customers.
Yves Lang, ENLASO’s Chief Sales Officer, explains, “I am very excited for our company to have reached this milestone. Centralizing our production operations in Boulder four years ago was a key piece of the puzzle for our current success. We were able to streamline processes and develop interdepartmental synergies to create a lean yet very effective company.” He adds, “Despite the current economical woes, ENLASO is on track for another record year in both revenue and profitability.”
ENLASO’s continuing commitment to customer service is also reflected in the company’s commitment to quality, with over a decade of consecutive ISO 9001 certification. In 2007, after an extensive audit of ENLASO's Boulder operations, international certification body BSI recommended ENLASO for continued ISO 9001:2000 recertification.
