John Watkins has an extensive background in product engineering and localization, having worked in international business for over 18 years. During his career, John has been heavily involved in software product development, human resource policies and procedures, and business process engineering. He spent 10 years in Europe, working at an international government agency to make the skies safer for air travel. John holds a M.Sc. from the University of Cincinnati. |
Yves Lang

Yves Lang, a sixteen-year veteran of the translation and localization industry, began his career as a translator, worked extensively with project management groups, and spearheaded the concepts of account management and total customer satisfaction as applied to the localization industry. His familiarity with different cultures and languages gives him a unique position in the translation and localization industry. Yves is a sought-after speaker and frequent presenter of educational Webinars. At ENLASO, he leads the Sales & Marketing teams, promotes enterprise solution selling, and manages many of the company’s largest accounts. He also works very closely with Production to guarantee a high level of quality and customer service. Yves speaks three languages fluently and holds a Master’s Degree in Modern Applied Languages from a French university. He is an avid extreme freestyle skier, loves the outdoors and has traveled on each continent. He enjoys horror movies and fantasy novels, and has a passion for strawberries. |
Yusuke Kirimoto

Yusuke Kirimoto is a recognized localization authority with over a decade of experience in translation, desktop publishing, engineering, and project management. He was raised and educated in Japan and the US, and is completely bi-lingual in Japanese and English. Yusuke began his career in localization as a professional Japanese linguist and joined ENLASO in 2000 as a localization engineer. Since 2004, Yusuke serves as the Operations Manager and provides his guidance to all production departments at ENLASO, enabling them to support global clients to migrate from traditional business environments to localization-ready systems with improved processes. Yusuke enjoys family time and loves to spend time with his daughter. On rare occasions (when he gets away from work on time :-), he still enjoys the thrills of piloting his Kawasaki ZX-7R race bike at the track. |
Yves Savourel

Author of the book XML Internationalization and Localization, Yves Savourel has been in the localization industry for more than 15 years. While providing internationalization consulting, his main focus has always been on developing tools and solutions for localization processes, often including XML aspects. Yves has been closely involved in the creation of XLIFF (XML Localisation Interchange File Format), TMX (the Translation Memory eXchange format), SRX (Segmentation Rules eXchange), and other standardization efforts. More recently, Yves has chaired the Internationalization Tag Set working group at the W3C. He is also a programmer and participates actively in different open-source projects related to localization, such as the Okapi Framework. Yves is a native of Brittany and has lived in France, Africa and in the Indian Ocean before settling in Colorado. He has post-graduate degrees in Geography and Computer Science. |
Nathen Garcia

Nathen Garcia serves as ENLASO’s Quality Assurance Manager and has nearly a decade of experience in the localization arena. Prior to joining ENLASO in 2007, he held various positions in the localization industry, including QA and project management. In his current capacity, Nathen oversees all aspects of quality process during the project life cycle. He interacts closely with all internal ENLASO production departments and ensures that only high quality end products reach our customers. Nathen brings with him a wide range of experience including telecommunications troubleshooting and methodical software localization testing. |
Åsa Ahlgren

Åsa Ahlgren, a native of Finland, has come full circle in the localization industry. She started out as a localization engineer in 1997. Over the years, she has worked within most areas of the industry, including project and account management, sales support, technical support of GMSes, and finally returned back to the role she enjoys most. At ENLASO she is responsible for a skilled team of engineers who ensure code integrity for smooth implementation of localized files back into client environments. She also oversees an experienced team of Project Managers, guiding them to provide the highest level of customer service among our industry. |
Ben Mann

Ben Mann is an experienced publishing supervisor with a keen eye for design and detail. His proficiency in a wide range of publishing software allows him to automate procedures as well as to troubleshoot the frequent issues that arise in localization publishing. Ben’s strong analytical skills and the ability to see the “big picture” enables him and his team of highly skilled publishers to not only meet tight deadlines, but also to produce the highest quality work. Ben possesses a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design and loves to drive speedy cars. |

Chris Raulf, a native of Switzerland, is an eight year veteran of the localization industry. Prior to his work in the localization industry, he worked as a Marketing Specialist for a financial corporation in Zürich, Switzerland, overseeing the company’s localization and translation projects. As a Product Manager for the Swiss Rail Ways, one of Switzerland’s trademark companies, Chris frequently handled the localization of marketing collateral into a wide variety of languages. Chris earned a Swiss Federal Diploma in Business and Marketing and traveled all over the world before settling in the US. |

Liesl Leary has worked extensively in business process redesign and corporate best practice research for over 8 years. At ENLASO she has spearheaded account teams who have designed enterprise localization processes that involve multiple departments from the ground up, leading to increased efficiencies and innovative solutions with low cost of ownership. Besides speaking six languages, Liesl holds a B.A. in International East Asian Studies from Kalamazoo College with coursework completed in Beijing, China as well as attending a Gymnasium in Germany. |
Cyrus Carter

Cyrus Carter is a nine year veteran of the localization industry and has worked extensively with a variety of Fortune 500 corporations around the world during all stages of global transition. With background and interest both in language and technology he has been a leader in working with his clients to develop the most effective and efficient linguistic solutions. Cyrus also has several years of experience implementing language and cross-cultural training programs for global expatriates. He holds a BA in German from Pepperdine University, earned in part through studies in Heidelberg, Germany. He has also studied Italian, Spanish and French in addition to being a martial arts enthusiast. |

Erik Eisel grew up in Huntington Beach, California, travelled the world, earned his graduate degree and returned in 19999 to work in the robust Southern California technology industry. As a sales professional since 1999, he has demonstrated his strong background in software and localization, having delivered software solutions to top tier hardware developers in the storage industry, including HP, Toshiba, Linksys and Freecom Europe. Erik is fluent in German and received his Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Arts in Comparative Literature from University of California, Los Angeles. He enjoys golf, public speaking and coaching soccer. |

Susanne has been in localization since 1993. She joined ENLASO in November of 2001. Prior to this, she worked as a translation coordinator and project manager in Colorado for other localization companies. She has worked on many large-scale, high profile client projects from software and documentation localization, to applications and sites localized for the Web. She is very dedicated, highly experienced, and extremely responsive. Susanne is fluent in French, having lived in France for three years. |
